Position Overview

  • Research Assistant (RA)

    Long-term openings available. Competitive salary and research opportunities.

  • PhD Students

    Long-term openings available. PhD students will be admitted in January and September each year. Please refer to the official guidelines for more details.

    Positions will open in 2026. Very competitive salary and research fund package. Welcome to drop your resume and research proposal.

Application Requirements

▲ Academic Background

Geographic Information Systems, Urban Science, Computer Science, Transportation, Behavioral Economics, or related fields.

▲ Technical Skills

  • 1. Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/R/Java), with foundations in deep learning and machine learning, experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow frameworks.
  • 2. Proficient in using GIS/QGIS/Geopandas for spatial data processing and analysis
  • 3. Prior research experience in spatiotemporal behavioral data mining, LLM agent fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, graph neural networks, spatial causal inference, or urban visual intelligence is preferred.
  • 4. Knowledge of behavioral geography, cognitive psychology theories, and research paradigms is preferred.

▲ English Proficiency

Good English academic presentation skills, meeting university admission English requirements.

▲ Research Experience

  • Recent PhD applicants should have first-author publications or supervisor-first/student-second author papers published or under review in authoritative journals.
  • Candidates without relevant publications but with outstanding potential may apply for research assistant positions first.

▲ Other Requirements
